How He Proposed
In 2022, about three weeks into dating, at a picnic table in the park outside of Ellie's apartment, JD told her that he wanted to marry her. To which she replied that he had to wait until she graduated from college, as she was beginning her junior year. JD then said that he would be "counting down the days." They moved in together across the park before the end of the year.
Once Ellie graduated, she knew that it was coming and thought that she would be prepared when JD decided to get down on one knee.
Until JD caught her completely off guard by bringing her to that very same park table on his birthday, July 2025, and he pulled out the ring that he had been hiding in a jacket pocket in the closet for months.
Of course she said yes!
JD and Ellie cannot wait to celebrate this lovely day with all of you :)

Here is how to get to Hamilton, MT and The Daly Mansion, no matter the distance!
arriving by car
If traveling from the Flathead Valley, staying South on Highway 93 will get you to the Bitterroot Valley. If traveling from the Gallatin Valley or near, get on I-90 West into Missoula until you reach The Bitterroot Turn (Exit 105). Once on US-93 South, countinue for about 50 minutes until you reach Hamilton.
